e-Seva centres earn Rs 317 crore in AP district

Vijayawada, Apr 21 (UNI) The e-Seva centres in Krishna district have registered a revenue of Rs 317 crore during 2006-07 compared to Rs 266 crore in the last year.

Addressing a press conference here today, Krishna district Joint Collector S Suresh Kumar said the 19 e-Seva centres in the district had undertaken 40,92,264 transactions in 2006-07 compared to 37,41,566 transactions last year.

Mr Kumar said the administration had introduced four new services like unified police service, civil supplies department service, expansion of vijaya dairy service to other municipalities and Takshan postal department service in the last financial year in the district.

More services like issue of land certificates, sale of non- juidicial stamps and e-railway ticket reservation would be introduced for the public soon, he added.
