Diamond merchant commits suicide by shooting self

Surat, Apr 20 (UNI) A diamond merchant committed suicide allegedly by shooting himself with a revolver in his flat here today.

The deceased, identified as Deepakbhai Narola, shot himself with the revolver in his bedroom this evening. He was a resident of Sreeji Park Society in Katargam. He was rushed to Ashakt Ashram Hospital, where he was declared dead, police said.

He was the owner of Bargavi Gems, a leading diamond firm in the city.

The exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained, they added.
