Daughter of NRI businessman goes missing

Muzzaffarpur, Apr 21 (UNI) Surya Sudarshan, an eighteen-year-old daughter of an NRI businessman has reportedly gone missing while travelling in Saptkaranti Express on April 18 from here to New Delhi.

Deputy police superintendent of Rail, Chandeswar Ram said here today that Sudharshan had left for New Delhi to appear in the entrance test for the Manipal Medical College.He said that she had last contacted her mother on mobile at 1500 hours on Wednesday last.

Mr Ram said that a search operation had been launched in East Champaran district following reports that the girl had reportedly married to a boy at a temple in Areraj locality in the same district.

''Print out of the mobile phone of the girl was being procured to ascertain who contacted her during the period'', he added.

A case in this connection was lodged at government railway police station by the family members of the missing girl.
