China's anti-satellite test added more debris in space: Nair
Tirupati, Apr 21 (UNI) Indian Satellite Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman G Madhavan Nair today said the anti-satellite test conducted by China had added 600 to 800 more objects in the outer space, posing a threat to the space assets of various countries.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Nair said the Chinese test had added more debris in the outer space.
About the plans to establish a deemed varsity for space studies in Kerala, he said the plans were on to start a space training centre at Thiruvanathapuram and they had submitted a report in this regard to the government for consideration.
