Bride and groom among three dead in road accident

Sirsa, Apr 21 (UNI) A groom and his bride and their driver were among three killed while four others of a marriage party were seriously injured when a Haryana Roadways bus rammed into their car today near Dabwali in this district.

According to reports, Bathinda resident Vinod Kumar was on his way to home with his bride Nisha and other relatives, after their marriage was solemnised in Mandi Kalanwali in the district yesterday, when the bus crashed into the vehicle near Dabwali.

While newlywed Vinod and Nisha and driver Ashar died on the spot after the collision, their four relatives were grievously injured and admitted to the nearby hospital.

The police reached the spot immediately after getting the information but the driver had absconded by then. The police had seized the bus which belonged to Sirsa Depot and registered a case against the driver.
