2 killed, 13 injured in bus-lorry collision

Alappuzha, Apr 21 (UNI) Two people were killed on the spot and 13 injured when a private bus collided with a lorry on the National Highway near Punnapara in this district this morning.

Police said the deceased were identified as bus driver Sanu (38) and a woman passenger Omana, also 38.

The lorry driver was among the 13 injured, who were admitted to the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital.

The private luxury coach was on its way to Ernakulam from Thiruvananthapuram.
