Youth Congress workers burn Babubhai Katara in effigy

Surat, Apr 20 (UNI) The Gujarat youth Congress city unit here today organised a huge rally and burnt in effigy Babubhai Katara, suspended BJP MP from Dahod, who was arrested in New Delhi on the charge of human trafficking.

The rally was held near Gujarat Gas Circle junction in Adajan, where they later burnt the arrested MP's effigy.

The agitators, led by city Youth Congress president Jayesh Liliyawala, were protesting against the human trafficking incident, in which Katara had tried to smuggle out a Punjabi woman and her son from New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International airport to Canada on his wife's passport, sources said.
