Trader sends death wish to Prez

Shajapur, MP, Apr 20 (UNI) A trader in this district's Makhavad village today demanded that President A P J Abdul Kalam grant permission for his suicide plan in protest against alleged partiality by the Tahsildar, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch and Secretary who demolished his encroaching shop.

''My shop was torn down last July by the trio who did not follow the due process of law. I sustained a loss of about Rs 50,000,'' said Anil Jat who is on relay hunger strike in front of the local collectorate since April 2 and faxed a message to Dr Kalam today.

Meanwhile, Collector R K Sharma ordered the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) to conduct an inquiry.
