Three persons of a family murdered

Nadiad, Apr 20 (UNI) Three persons from a family were found murdered in their house located at Navdeep Society near Vaniawad circle in Nadiad town last night, police sources said here today.

The bodies of Rajnikant Natwarlal Parekh (63), his wife Geetaben Parekh (58) and mother Shardaben Natwarlal Parekh (85) with injuries inflicted with sharp weapons have been first spotted by a milk vendor in the morning.

He then alerted the other society members and later informed the police about the incident.

Police, who immediately reached the spot alongwith finger print experts, said that bodies bore head injuries inflicted with sharp weapons. Preliminary investigations by the police indicated-a- robbery attempt behind the murder.

Nadiad Police have registered a robbery cum murder case against the unknown persons and initiated further investigations. The bodies have been sent to a nearby local hospital for postmortem, sources said.
