Summer showers lash South TN

Madurai, Apr 20 (UNI) Sharp summer showers lashed the temple city for the second time in a week today, throwing traffic on the congested roads out of gear.

Besides important traffic junctions, water-logging was there even inside the sprawling Meenakshi amman temple complex.

Moderate rains were reported from many parts of Southern Tamil Nadu, bringing relief from the oppressive heat conditions.
