SP confident of majority in UP poll

Ayodhya, Apr 20 (UNI) Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and Uttar Pradesh PWD minister Shivpal Singh Yadav today claimed that his party would return to power in the state with majority after the assembly poll.

Addressing mediapersons here, Mr Yadav claimed that the state had witnessed fast pace of development and people would reward the SP-led regime with majority.

Blaming the Election Commission for the low percentage of voting in the ongoing UP poll, Mr Yadav said the Commission was biased against the state government.
