Sasken revenues up 55 pc at Rs 477 crore
Bangalore, Apr 20 (UNI) Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd, a telecom R and D and support outsourcing major, today announced that it has achieved consolidated revenues of Rs 477 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007, a 55 per cent growth over the previous fiscal.
The profit after tax (PAT) had surged to Rs 44.3 crore, an increase of 93 per cent over the last period. The Board also announced consolidated earnings per share of Rs 15.75 as against Rs 9.08 paid last year. The dividend amounted to 40 per cent.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2007, consolidated revenue was Rs 135 crore, an increase of 73 per cent compared to the same period previous year. PAT for the period stood at Rs 11.7 crore, up by 86 per cent. EPS was Rs 4.14 as against Rs 2.52 paid during the corresponding quarter last year, a company release here said.
Six new customers were added during the quarter, taking the number of active customers to 84, the release said.
