Punjabi Parichay Sammelan in MP

Jabalpur, Apr 20 (UNI) To facilitate life-partner selection, the Punjabi community's 19th National Punjabi Yuwak-Yuwati Parichay Sammelan will take place here on June 19 and 20.

Organiser Punjabi Hindu Association's Chandrakumar Bhanot and Punjabi Mahila Samiti Incharge Usha Khurana said that about 80 families had registered from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and other states.

''Doctors, engineers, widowers, widows and abandoned women would be among various age-groups taking part. The Samiti is making arrangements for wedding ceremonies as per relatives' wishes,'' Ms Khurana added.
