Priyanka arrives in Amethi tomorrow

Amethi, Apr 20 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi's daughter and 'star campaigner' Priyanka Gandhi will arrive here tomorrow to review the poll preparations for Phase V of the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, slated on April 28.

On April 13, Ms Vadra had promised Congress candidates and workers that she would visit Amethi between April 16 and 20, if required.

Amethi is the parliamentary constituency of Priyanka's brother Rahul Gandhi. She would stay here till April 26.

According to party sources, Priyanka will address poll meetings in several villages of the Salon Vidhan Sabha constituency and later reach Sanjay Gandhi Hospital's guest house.

She will address election meetings in Amethi, Gauriganj and Jagdishpur seats of Amethi parliamentary segment, and Sadar, Santav, Sareni and Dalmau of Rae Bareli parliamentary constituency.

According to sources, Ms Gandhi is also likely to campaign in Isauli, Sadar, Jai Singhpur, Chanda and Kadipur of the Sultanpur parliamentary segment.
