Merck Q1 PAT at Rs 15.9 cr

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) Pharma company Merck Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 15.93 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007 in comparison to Rs 18.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.

The company's total income in the said period was Rs 79.78 crore as against Rs 107.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.

The figures for previous quarter are not comparable due to sale of company's Life Science and Analytics business, a statement said.
