Kudos for Indore's bus system

Indore, Apr 20 (UNI) The local city bus system, run with private sector participation, has been selected among India's five 'Best Practices' and a book on the subject would be released at Delhi by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tomorrow on the occasion of Civil Service Day.

District Collector Vivek Agrawal would make a presentation on the system at the programme, an official release said.

The City Transport Services Ltd is plying 80 ultramodern low-floor buses along 20 routes. These vehicles ferry an average of 80,000 people daily.
