i-flex solutions b v strengthens presence in Balkans

Bangalore, Apr 20 (UNI) i-flex solutions b v, a subsidiary of i-flex solutions, today announced the setting up of a subsidiary in Athens, Greece, in partnership with one of the Balkan State's largest holding houses, Fourlis Group.

The acquisition was significant in view of i-flex's expansion strategy to provide its customers its range of products and services for financial services industry, a company release here said.

The new company, i-flex s a, would cater to the markets of Greece and neighbouring countries. i-flex had more than 20 banks as customers in the Balkan region, including Greece's largest banks -- Alpha Bank and EFG Euro Bank.

i-flex solutions COO N R K Raman, who would be the Chairman of the new subsidiary, said ''our new investment in Greece throws up immense possibilities for engaging with our customers across EU.

It will also allow us to develop alternative talent pools, especially in Romania and Greece.'' UNI
