Gujarat Ambuja Cements Q1 net up at Rs 590.74 cr

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd today registered a jump of 43.12 per cent in net profit at Rs 590.74 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 412.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The total income of the company rose to Rs 1,700.25 crore for the said quarter as against Rs 1,131.07 crore during the same period a year ago.
