Four injured in accident

Puducherry, Apr 20 (UNI) Four persons including two government officials were injured when the car in which they were travelling fell into a ditch on the East Coast Road (ECR) here today.

Police said the two officials- Sunderasan and Sivanesan - of the Labour Welfare Department were proceeding to the Assembly from Lawspet in a car, when the mishap occurred.

The car, which lost control while avoiding a collision with a motor cyclist, fell into the ditch.

The injured were admitted to the Government General Hospital here, police added.
