FAPCCI hails annual supplement to FTP

Hyderabad, Apr 20 (UNI) Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) President Sudhir Sanghi today welcomed the third annual supplement of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2004-09.

In a statement here, he said the service tax exemption on all services rendered abroad or those delivered to exporters in India would provide significant boost to the exporters.

He said the supplements announced would boost exports and touch the target of US Dollar 160 billion set for the year 2007-08 and US Dollar 200 billion for 2008-09.

He also expressed happiness over expanding the portfolio of Vishesh Krishi and Gram Udyog Yojana for promoting agriculture exports.

He said the FAPCCI welcomed the changes introduced in Export Promotion Capital Goods Scheme.
