Dust storms, rain, dip temp in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Apr 20 (UNI) Slight rain and dust storms across Rajasthan has resulted in temperature drop of two to three degree Celsius, providing relief to people from the sweltering heat of the past few days.
Kota experienced 41 degree Celsius and was the hottest place in the state today. The state capital Jaipur, Bikaner and Ganganagar witnessed dust storms, slight drizzle, which did not let the maximum temperature rise too much. The dust storms reduced the visibility to 500 metres at the Jaipur Airport.
The dust storms and drizzle in the past two days have not let the maximum temperature rise across the state.
Barmer recorded 39.3 degree Celsius, Jaisalmer 37.6, Udaipur 38.2, Ganganagar 40.5, Jodhpur 40.7, Churu 40.6, Bikaner and Ajmer 40.
The weather department has predicted rains in some places with thunder and lightening over the next 24 hours.
