Civilian posing RTO dies in accident

Jamshedpur, Apr 20 (UNI) One person, said to be a civilian in police uniform, died when his jeep dashed with a truck near Road Transport Office at Pardih on National Highway 33 today.

Mr Sakaldev Yadav was performing duty as the Road Transport Officer when the mishap occured.

Police, however, claimed that the deceased was a policeman but eye witnesses said he was a cilvilian.

Meanwhile, RTO sub-inspector R S Yadav, who was reportedly not present during the mishap, claimed that he was injured in the accident and was admitted to the Tata Main Hospital here .
