After Rahul, Varun recalls 'family achievements'

Basti, Apr 20 (UNI) After Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, his cousin and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)leader Varun Gandhi, today recalled the achievements of the Nehru-Gandhi family.

Addressing an election meeting during campaigning for the ongoing UP assembly poll in the district, Varun, son of BJP MP Maneka Gandhi said '' Our entire family has worked for the development of India.'' Nehru-Gandhi family has made major contribution in the welfare of the country. ''my Grandmother and father have sacrificed themselves for India'', he maintained.

Mr Rahul Gandhi has also mentioned the achievements of Nehru-Gandhi family during his recent roadshows in western UP.
