5-year-old kidnapped girl rescued
New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) A five-year-old girl, kidnapped on Wednesday, was rescued today and the two suspects in the case were arrested from North East Delhi.
The girl, Uzma Khanam was kidnapped allegedly by the two suspects while she was returning home with her grandmother in Yamuna Vihar.
Two other suspects in the case are absconding.
Motorcycle-borne Azad Khan (20) and Imran Khan (18) had allegedly snatched the child from her grandmother.
Both were arrested during a raid at their residence in Kardampuri, where they had kept the child.
The suspects, both Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) degree holders, had demanded ransom from the child's father Raza Khan.
During interrogation they confessed to have kidnapped the child for the money with which they wanted to revive their business.
