WNS, CIMA enter corporate partnership

Mumbai, Apr 19 (UNI) WNS Global Services and Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA) today announced the launch of their corporate partnership for training WNS employees in BPO sector.

Under this strategic association, both the companies will jointly develop professional development programmes pertaining to management accounting for the employees of WNS. CIMA will also accredit WNS for the certificate in Business Accounting.

''The partnership will create an avenue for the aspiring finance professionals to secure international qualification while working,'' WNS COO Sulakshana Patankar said.

While talking to reporters, CIMA director (strategic Development) Rick Sturge said the two organizations will carry forward a joint effort in developing professional, technical and business orienting management and accounting skils in the BPO sector employees.

CIMA, headquartered in London, is a leading international professional institute that offers internationally-recognized qualification in management accountancy, focusing on accounting in business, in both private and public sectors in 161 countries all over the world, Mr Sturge said.
