Two arrested for possessing gold ornaments

Visakhapatnam, Apr 19 (UNI) Police today arrested two persons and 8.6 kgs gold ornaments were seized from them in a raid here last night.

Acting on a tip off, a police team nabbed the duo Narendra Kumar Jain and P Ramana Reddy, who were moving under suspecious circumstances in the Dwarakanagar bus complex and seized the ornaments worth Rs 90 lakh from them..

In another case, a police team raided a CD shop in the city and seized 22 pornographic CDs.

The shop organiser was arrested and the CDs seized.

Both the cases were registered and investigations were underway, police added.
