Two arrested for poaching deer

Bikaner, Apr 19 (UNI) Two peole have been arrested by the police in connection with the poaching of deer at Ramsar village about 12 km form here.

Police recovered the body of the hunted deer and a country made rifle used for killing the protected animal from the two accused.

Police said the arrested were Birjaram Babari of Sui village and Saithan Singh of Pemasar village.

Police later handed over th body of the animal to the Vishnoi community for the last rites.
