Three women of a family murdered

Raisen(MP), Madhya Pradesh, Apr 19 (UNI) Three women of a family were murdered last night in their house at Amravad village near here, police said.

The bodies of Bhuribai(40), Rinki(16) and Yashoda(12), having head injuries inflicted with sharp-edged weapons, were found this morning. Preliminary investigations showed an attempt was made to molest Rinki, whose naked body had scratch marks, police said.

Police said, the head of the family Munnalal Kori had gone to Udaypura for a marriage and was yet to return.

Superintendent of Police K C Jain, who reached the spot with other police officials, told UNI that all bodies bore head injuries.

An open box was also found on the spot indicating a burglary attempt, he said.

Police said, the family was not rich and Ms Bhuribai used to sell vegetables. Ans investigating was on, Mr Jain added.
