Review meeting for Constituencies development from May 17

Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, Apr 19 (UNI) Tamil Nadu State Election Commissioner T Chandrasekaran today said a review meeting for the development of constituencies would start from May 17.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the meeting to ascertain the views of the people would be held at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchi.

Mr Chandrasekaran said he along with the Central Election Commissioner N Gopalaswamy and the Constituency Development President would review the petition submitted by the people for the development of constituencies.

The elections to the Panchayat Committee would be held after getting the statements from District Collectors to fill up the vacancies, he added.
