No publication of ranks

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) The Board of Intermediate Education will dispense with the system of publishing the ranks and introduced grading system.

The managements of junior colleges have been instructed not to publish any ranks, either in print or any other media, but can publish the correct marks, following orders of Andhra Pradesh High Court, an official press release said.

In case of any violation of the provisions of section 7 and section 7A of AP Public Examinations (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means) Act 25 of 1997, would be liable for procecution under section 8 of the said Act and de-recongnition or disaffiliation of their colleges as per the directions of the High Court, it added.
