No loadshedding or under frequency in Delhi today: Trasco

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) With a slight dip in temperature, power situation in the city remained under control today with capital's peak power demand of 3,297 MW being met without any loadshedding or under frequency reported from anywhere.

Peak load on the system, recorded at 3297 MW till 1545 hrs, was met without any shedding or under frequency since morning, Delhi Trasco Ltd, the main suppliers of power to the city, said.

However, rotational load shedding could be necessary to maintain grid discipline in the evening, it added.

Yesterday, power situation in the national capital remained normal with city's peak power demand of 3,258 MW being met.

68.99 MUs energy was supplied and only total load shedding of 0.156 MUs was carried out -- 0.23 per cent of the energy supplied.
