NHRC seminar in Bangalore from April 28

Mangalore, Apr 19 (UNI) The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will organise a two-day national seminar on 'NGO's role in Human Rights Activities' in Bangalore from April 28.

Addressing newspersons here today, Karnataka State Human Rights Council President S K Vivekananda said Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi would inaugurate the seminar, being held for the first time in the State.

Two NGOs from each district would be invited for the seminar.

NGOs from other States, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, would also participate, he added.
