MP Minister to marry off 200 poor women

Bhopal, Apr 19 (UNI) Two hundred women belonging to poor families would tie the knot at Rehli in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district coinciding with Akshay Tritiya tomorrow -- the very day Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan exchange vows.

This noble responsibility has been taken up by state Cooperatives Minister Gopal Bhargava who said, ''the weddings will be solemnised in a 5,500 sq ft hall. A fireworks show and other forms of entertainment will take place. I will perform the kanyadan myself.'' The Minister will provide the marriage dresses and ornaments.
