Minior boy injured in mine blast in Poonch
Jammu, Apr 19 (UNI) A 12-year-old boy was injured in a landmine blast today when his cattle strayed in marked mine field at Ramluta near Bhimber Gali in bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
''Mohammad Adrish, of Ramlata, was grazing cattle near an army post when his buffalo stepped on a mine this evening. He received serious splinter injures on right leg, chest, left shoulder and face,'' sources said.
He was immediately shifted to the district government hospital, Rajouri.
His condition was reportedly stable.
