Life term to alleged Tantrik
Rajgarh, MP, Apr 19 (UNI) A local court has sentenced life imprisonment and Rs 2,000 fine to an alleged Tantrik who was found guilty of committing unnatural act with a student.
According to the prosecution, Khalid Khan, resident of Talen area, posed himself as a Tantrik. He did unnatural act with a Dalit student with a promise to help him get good marks in the examination through his supernatural powers, but threatened with his life if he revealed the truth.
He abused other students of a tution centre also after luring them with the promise to teach them Tantra, the prosecution said.
A student victim lodged an FIR at Biaora police station.
Special Court Judge Harish Chandra Sharma convicted Khan on April 17.
