Isolated rains over coastal AP, Telangana, Rayalaseema

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Isolated rain over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours, brought some relief to the people reeling under severe summer heat.

The weather office here said the state capital recorded a rainfall of 3.5 mm this morning.

While Kuppam recorded a heavy rainfall of seven cm, Kamareddy recorded four and Golconda three.

The maximum temperatures fell at one or two places over Telangana and changed little over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

The highest maximum temperature of 39 Degree Celcius was recorded at Anantapur and Nandyal.

Isolated rain or thundershowers were likely over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

The maximum temperature will be around 35 Degree Celcius, the office added.
