Indians more prone to kidney stone
Kolkata, Apr 19 (UNI) Climatic conditions in the country make Indians more susceptible to kidney stone, said eminent Urologist Dr Amit Ghosh here today.
Talking to newspersons yesterday, on the importance of Laser Technology in curing kidney stone, Dr Ghosh said excessive humidity and sedantry lifestyle can be attributed to the growing recurrence of the disease.
Secretary of Anandalok Charitable Hospital, which has been treating people in the field of urology and prostrate for over two years, D K Saraf said, '' The unique feature of Laser Technology is that the patient does not suffer any blood loss or experience any pain and there is no chance of residue stone.'' The number of cases treated during the past one year in the hospital is 200 and the success rate is 100 per cent, claimed Dr Ghosh.
''He advised the masses to go for a check up once every year and added that '' Only early detection can save a patient from suffering and spending more money in the process.'' UNI
