Hilton Plans Expansion

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Hilton Metal Forging Limited, specializing in the manufacture of forged items for the oil and gas sector, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and automobile industries plans Rs 48.15 crore expansion focussing on exports.

The plan includes expansion of its existing manufacturing capacity from 11,100 MTA to 24,900 MTA by installing additional Plant and Machinery at Gonsai in Wada Taluka of Thane district, setting up of new building at four plots at village Gonsai for in house die shiptool rooms, heat treatment shop and laboratory to manufacture the large size components like front axle beam, forged values, bodies, multithrough crank shaft, large size connecting rod and cam shaft for marine diesel engine and to meet working capital requirement, a press release here today said.

The project has been appraised by State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) for Rs 48.15 crores SBH has sanctioned term loan Rs 10 crores. The bank further disbursed Rs 1.12 crore as part of the term loan.

The company has already installed heat treatment plant and 3 tonnes drop forge hammer. The company has so far spent Rs 2.59 crore towards installation Machines, purchase of land.

The company presently export forged components to various manufactureres and distributors in USA, UK, European and Middle East countries with export sales constitution 90 per cent of total sales during 2005-06. The company has a 16 MT closed die Russian hammer which is highest capacity in Closed die forge hammer available in India and it can forge upto 750 kgs in closed Die.
