HCl, AEC ties-up for IT projects in S Arabia

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) Country's fifth largest software exporter HCL Technologies Ltd and Riyadh-based Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) today clinched a deal for carrying out IT projects in Saudi Arabia.

''We are delighted to partner with the AEC as it will help us to present our IT transformation folio to the Saudi market. This agreement is indeed an important milestone for the Saudi IT space as it merges HCL's global thought leadership in IT with AEC's strong roots, rich experience and business leadership in the local market,'' company's Manager (India and West Asia) Kiran Bhagwanani said.

AEC and the company, through it's arm, will implement and carry out integrated IT solutions and services for business transformation, covering end-to-end of the IT spectrum, including systems integration, package implementation, application development and maintenance, IT infrastructure management and BPO.

In addition, HCL's IT Management Centre (IMC) in Riyadh will enable delivery of strong, process-based IT service management with predictable and consistent end-user performance, covering the technology domains of data centre, systems, storage, networks, security and end-user support.

''The IMC will introduce a world class IT management delivery model to the region with its globally benchmarked processes and integrated service delivery framework, providing round the clock proactive and predictable IT service management,'' he added.
