Godavari's 89% net up, dividend doubled

Kolkata, Apr 19 (UNI) Godavari Fertilisers&Chemicals Ltd has reported 89 per cent increase in net profit and the production volume touched 11.35 million tonnes compared 10.24 MT in the previous year.

A company release said here today that the higher production was achieved by process changes and increase of storage capacity without any capital expenditure.

Sale of the manufactured products was 11.28 lakh MT. The sales turnover also increased by 18 per cent to Rs 1800 crore compared to the previous year.

The company has planned to set up an expansion project at an estimated cost of Rs 82 crore to increase production capacity to 10,000 MT.
