Cong panel for Goa Assembly elections

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved a six- member State Election Committee for Goa Pradesh Congress in view of the approaching Assembly elections in the state.

According to AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi, the members of the Committee are GPCC President Rav Naik, Chief Minsiter Pratapsingh Rane, Shantara Naik, MP, former GCC president Luizinho Falerio, another former GPCC chief Sulochana Katkar and former state women wing chief Madeline Periera.

The four invitees to the Committee are Girish Chondankar, Ms Monica Dias, Shantaram Kadam and Altinho Gomes,Mr Dwivedi said in a release issued here today.
