Bridegroom thrashed: traffic blocked

Badwani, MP, Apr 19 (UNI) A frenzied mob staged a road blockade to protest the assault of a bridegroom and other members of a marriage-party by a bus driver and his assistant near Bilwa Fate in Anjad police station area of this district, police said today.

The wedding procession was enroute to Bhamouri from Fatyapur yesterday when the vehicle carrying the bridegroom dashed against the bus and the bus driver thrashed the bridegroom.

Bridegroom's relative Narendra Sirwi lodged a complaint against the bus driver and his assistant, who were absconding.
