Anekal record 4 cm rain in the State

Bangalore, Apr 19 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the state.

Chief amounts of rainfall (CM): Anekal 4, Subramanya, Yelburga, Tavaregere, Sakleshpura, Hoskote 2 each, Kukanoor, Malur, Sira 1 each.

Maximum temperatures above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over coastal karnataka however appreciably below normal at a few places over north interior karnataka and below normal at a few places over south interior karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highesty maximum temperature of 38 degree celsius over the state.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over south interior karnataka and at isolated places over coastal karnataka and north interior karnataka.
