Airtel introduces 'Dakshinam Pack' for south Indians in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Telecom major Bharti Airtel has introduced a special offer ''Dakshinam Pack'' for its customers with calling needs to South India from across Gujarat.

This pre-paid pack has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the subscribers who frequently call South India and provides better value for money with high usage and validity, besides offering customer-friendly tariffs. This pack is the first of its kind offering in Gujarat.'' The Pack comes with a lifetime tariff validity and offers subscribers special STD calling rate to all South Indian states, including Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka at Rs 1.25 and special ISD rates for USA/Canada/Europe (Landline) at Rs 3.99 and Gulf at Rs 7.86. The customers will get the benefit of the above mentioned tariffs for lifetime.

Announcing the launch of the pack, Bharti Airtel Gujarat Mobile Services chief operating officer Sharlin Thayil said ''The new pack offers a good value proposition to the South Indian community who want to stay in touch with their relatives down south. We are focussed on increasing our portfolio in the state and are constantly seeking to engage customers cutting across class, creed and culture.'' ''The Dakshinam Pack will expand Airtel's current range of offers and schemes for pre-paid customers in Gujarat and is a true value for money offer to the South Indian community of Gujarat,'' Mr Thayil said.
