80 people injured in accident in Jharkhand

Latehar, Apr 19 (UNI) At least 80 people of a marriage party were injured when a truck carrying them met with an accident, two km from the district headquarters today.

One person, who sustained serious injuries, was sent to state capital Ranchi for better treatment.

Police said the marriage party was en route to Nagarmandir from Tubed, adding the truck driver escaped after the accident.

The injured were admitted to civil hospital here.
