2 complain of blindness after attending eye camp

Jamnagar, Apr 19 (UNI) Two persons from Panchdevda village in Kalavad taluka of Jamnagar district have complained of blindness after attending an eye-camp held 20 days back in their village.

Many persons from Panchdevda and four nearby villages were referred to a famous eye hospital in Virnagar in Rajkot district for surgery during the eye check up camp.

Govardhanbhai Gajjarbhai Judiya (72) and Noor Mohammad Isaac Malek have complained of losing their sight. The two have been sent to Jamnagar Eye Hospital and treatment is continuing. Sources said that the blindness may be temporary and caused by infection.
