Wedding on train, dream comes true in Russia
Moscow, Apr 18: Russian couples, looking for a memorable way to celebrate their wedding, will now be able to mark the most important event of their lives on a train.
The train was paraded at the Moskovsky railway station in St Petersburg yesterday. It consists of several cars where the bride and the groom can exchange vows in a church ceremony, hold the reception and travel to their honeymoon destination, the press service of the Russian Railways company said.
The train can accommodate up to 100 guests.
''The newly weds will also be provided with a comfortable compartment elaborately decorated for the occasion and a special festive dinner,'' the press service said.
