TTD to construct 100 modern counters for sale of laddus
Tirumala, Apr 18 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) will construct 100 modern counters for sale of laddus to devotees visiting the Lord Venkateswara temple here.
Talking to newspersons here today, after inspecting four ''mada'' streets of the temple and laddu counters, TTD Trust Board Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said counters will be constructed with modern facilities to avoid delay in getting prasadam.
Mr Reddy said in the same complex, separate counters will also be arranged for the sale of Sri Vari gold dollars, gold mangalasutras, books and cassettes.
Ahobila Mutt and Tirumala Nambi temple mada streets will be re-located in North Mada Street. Necessary facilities would be provided to the devotees in four mada streets. Annamayya and Tarigonda Vengammamba mandapams will be constructed behind Varahaswamy Temple.
The Chairman said a separate entrance for Sri Varaha Swamy Temple at East Mada street will be arranged for the convenience of devotees.
TTD Joint Executive Officer(Tirumala) G Balaramaiah, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer P Hari Kumar, Temple Chief Priest Venkataramana Deekshiteelu, Temple Deputy Executive Officer Prabhakara Reddy and Public Relations Officer Ramapulla Reddy, were among others present on the occasion.
