Tata Indicom targets 150 town in Himachal
Shimla, Apr 18 (UNI) Expanding the network strength of telecom services in Himachal Pradesh, Tata indicom today opened its 20 outlet in Kangra.
Coordinator Operation Officer (COO) of Himachal Pradesh Tata Teleservices Ltd Sandeep Srivastava said the company planned to focus on the rural and semi-urban segments across the state.
As part of its expansion plan, 150 towns of 1,50,000 subscribers base will be targetted for year 2007-08, he said.
At present the company had its services in 10 district of 75 major towns having 70,000 subscribers base, he said.
