Prithvi Info revenues up 70 %

Hyderabad, Apr 18 (UNI) Prithvi Information Solutions Limited has posted excellent results for the year ending March 31, 2007 with the company's operating revenues increasing 70 per cent year-on-year to Rs 768 27 crore as against Rs 452.72 crore last year.

The increase in revenues has translated into a similar increase in net profit with a 69 per cent YoY increase to Rs 90 crore from Rs 53.34 crore during FY06.

Profit before interest and depreciation doubled YoY to Rs 107.36 crore against Rs 53.62 crore last year.

For the quarter ending March 31, 2007, net income grew 89 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to Rs 259.22 crore from Rs 136.96 crore for the same period last year. Net profit increased 55 per cent to Rs 26 crore from Rs 16.81 crore.

The company recommended an interim dividend of 20 per cent or Rs two per share, a press release here today said.
